Kristina Yasuda

Having grown up witnessing differences in quality of life in Japan, where she was raised and Crimea, where her grandparents lived, international development and financial inclusion is at the heart of Kristina’s initiatives. In 2016, she became director of an NGO InternetBar.org, leading a digital identity project with a goal of building an identity layer of the Internet would lead to increased access to markets in marginalized communities unlocking sleeping capital of BoP. She believes paradigm shift will happen when individuals will learn how to harness their personal data. She has been actively educating about the importance of digital identity, speaking at number of international conferences hosted by UNESCO, UNFCCC, ASEAN, EU, and forums such as the World Justice Forum and KEY Platform. Kristina graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sciences Po Paris majoring in Europe-Asia studies.
