Jeffrey M. Aresty, Esq.


Jeff is the founder/current President of, Inc. Mr. Aresty has been involved in international business law and the role of technology in the transformation of the practice of law for almost three decades. He is a past chair of the American Bar Association Section of International Law’s Information Services, Technology, and Data Protection Committee and is currently the deputy program chair and has volunteered in other capacities for the ABA and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Kristina Yasuda

Director, Digital Identity Programs

Kristina Yasuda is the Director of IBO’s Digital Identity Program. She is responsible for running “The Invisibles” project which aims to build digital identity for refugees, thus making technology work for justice. She graduated as Summa Cum Laude from SciencesPo Paris with a Bachelors of Arts. She has worked as a business consultant at Accenture Strategy on projects that help clients drive innovation by leveraging technology such as blockchain and AI.

Darcy Thompson

Advisory Board

Darcy Thompson is a retired educator and TMCA credentialed advanced mediator with experience resolving disputes in the areas of civil, debt collection, elder, faith-based, landlord-tenant, and special education. Darcy also specializes in the areas of peer mediation and online dispute resolution. Darcy has strong meeting facilitation techniques and effective communication skills. Her calming voice and personality help parties focus on resolving their problems using a cooperative approach in a confidential setting.

Astrid Countee

Advisory Board

Her work includes advising technology projects, offering guidance on the construction of justice applications, tech community building, and supporting IBO with expertise. Astrid has a background in ethnography, research, data analysis and software development. She also has a BA in Psychology from Baylor University and an MA in Anthropology from University of Houston. She is currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science and Math from University of Houston-Sugarland.

Sandra Darabi Nomsi

Project Manager

Sandra is a Project Manager with IBO, where she works closely with leadership and provides day-to-day project support, including accounting. She received a BA in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University. Sandra is devoted to working in the Nonprofit sector and improving the lives of the communities IBO serves, one project at the time.

Iyana Edouard

Digital Media Coordinator

Iyana is the digital media coordinator at IBO. Her work includes spreading the word about the organization, it’s initiatives, and mission. Since earning her BA in journalism from The University of North Texas she has continued to use her background and skills in digital media writing & social media marketing to help small businesses grow, including her own. Iyana is very proud of her Haitian-American ethnicity and wants to continue to do work that inspired more Haitian women & WOC to purse creative leadership roles. Her end goal is to meet Oprah.
