BENTLEY COLLEGE

InternetBar started working with the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center (the BGCC) at Bentley College in February of 2008. The BGCC made available their technological resources and aided InternetBar in hosting international forums for poverty alleviation and the legal empowerment of the poor. Using the technologies the BGCC made available InternetBar was able to bring in people from around the world both in person and through cyber conferencing and teleconferencing technologies to participate in a three day symposium in April and a full day conference in June. Out of these discussions came the website plans, the training model, the pilot projects, and the partnerships with OpenWorld.

An Opportunity

The Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center is still in development. You know a person or entity with a strong interest in this area willing to help this innovative center gain momentum, please let us know. The center has already gained national recognition in TIME magazine.
