Internet Bar is a 501(c)(6) non-profit and our Internet Bar Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We welcome contributions of any size as a valuable enhancement to carrying out of missions to the legal profession and to the world.

While we are a bar association our outreach is in no way limited to the legal profession itself. We support a variety of transformational projects within the profession, but also direct and support several projects in developing countries that bring direct relief to people in need.

Please see our "Programs" page on this website for details on our missions in Palestine, Kenya and Nigeria. Your contributions to Internet Bar directly help us to execute on these projects so that thousands of people with little or no economic opportunity can begin to access the global marketplace through the Internet to sell locally made products around the world. This is the kind of releif that goes far beyond a hand-out and instead brings real, lasting opportunity to entire regions that have been left out of the economic boon brought about by the Internet.

We also support and direct programs to build trusted online communities, reduce cybercrime, train lawyers to provide a higher level of service to clients and expand the use of non-litigious forms of dispute resolution.

Within and beyond the legal profession Internet Bar is working to build a better world--a world in which more people have basic rights and opportunities, in which the Internet is a safer, saner place within which to interact with others, and in which people can resolve disputes without the tremendous emotional and monetary costs of traditional litigation.
