Become a Cyberweek Sponsor

Cyber week 2007 begins October 14 with a global program featuring programming and discussions that attract thousands of lawyers, judges, law students, academics, technology providers, government and NGO personnel and other interested legal industry stakeholders from around the world. We are pleased that your organization is interested in sponsoring this global event. Following is a list of specific programs and other aspects of Cyber week that will provide your organization with access to and participation with specific stakeholders in the legal profession.

Sponsor the Keynote Addresses

We will feature three Keynote Addresses during Cyber week. Each will be broadcast live over the Internet and also recorded and archived for people who cannot attend live but want to view the addresses. Keynote Addresses will bring a large and diverse audience from among all stakeholders listed above and provide a terrific venue for your organization to associate with the speaker, topic or to simply engage with the audience broadly.

There will be only one Keynote Address sponsor for each address.

Keynote Address Sponsors will be featured with a full-screen advertisement before the program begins, a mention at the beginning and end of the program, a full-page advertisement in the written transcript, notes, outlines or other written materials provided by the speaker and access to the e-mail list of attendees for a one-time communication though we do reserve the right to review this communication prior to it being sent. Keynote Address sponsorship will provide your organization with:

  • Live real-time access to attendees by way of advertisement
  • Ongoing access to audiences who view the archived version of the address during Cyber week
  • Ongoing access to audiences who view the address for one year on www.internetbar.org
  • Inclusion of your company and contact information, including links you provide, on our Cyber week Sponsors page and on a rotating banner basis on all Cyber week pages
  • The opportunity to present a 60-90 minute web cast, expenses paid by Internet Bar, to engage our audience on anything relevant to your company, products or mission.

Cost: $5,000 or $12,000 to sponsor all 3 Keynote Addresses

Sponsor Daily Featured Programming

Each day during Cyber week we will present live and pre-recorded educational and informational programming related to law, technology, the emerging global online justice system, the future of the legal profession and other related topics. Programming will be in the form of live webcasts, live and recorded podcasts, e-learning programs (some for MCLE credit) and technology demonstrations.

There will be a limit of two sponsors per program.

Daily Featured Program Sponsors will be featured with a full-screen advertisement at the beginning and end of the sponsored program, a full-page advertisement in the written transcript, notes, outlines or other written materials provided by the speaker and access to the e-mail list of attendees for a one-time communication though we do reserve the right to review this communication prior to it being sent. Daily Featured Program sponsorship will provide your organization with:

  • Live real-time access to attendees by way of advertisement
  • Ongoing access to audiences who view the archived version of the program during Cyber week
  • Ongoing access to audiences who view the program for one year on www.internetbar.org
  • Inclusion of your company and contact information, including links you provide, on our Cyber week Sponsors page and on a rotating banner basis on all Cyber week programming pages
  • The opportunity to present a 15-30 minute web cast, expenses paid by Internet Bar, to engage our audience on anything relevant to your company, products or mission.

Cost: $2,500 or $4,500 for three program sponsorships or $15,000 to sponsor all programs

Sponsor the Discussion Forums

Discussion Forums and Boards are topical and generate significant traffic and, equally important, significant time on the website as people read and respond to the threaded discussions. Historically, these forums and boards are among the most visited areas of Cyber week and, of course, those who visit particular boards and read and comment have a specific interest in the topic discussed.

There will be no more than two sponsors for each forum and board.

Sponsoring a forum or discussion provides your organization with access to a highly targeted group of people with specific interests. This year, we will feature forums and boards for both legal profession stakeholders and the general public. Discussion Forum sponsorship will provide your organization with:

  • Live real-time access to active Cyber week participants by way of advertisement on a forum or board
  • Ability to post topics and messages and engage the audience in conversations important to your organization
  • Ongoing access to audiences who view the forums and boards for one year on www.internetbar.org
  • Inclusion of your company and contact information, including links you provide, on our Cyber week Sponsors page and on a rotating banner basis on all Cyber week programming pages
  • The opportunity to convert participants to potential customers by way of active engagement during and after Cyber week--you are free to discuss your company products, services, programs, mission, special offers within the general guidelines against direct solicitation that would violate e-mail spam laws.

Cost: $2,500 for one board or forum or $4,500 for any three boards or forums or $25,000 for sole sponsorship of all forums and boards.

Sponsor the Technology Demonstrations

People who attend and participate in Cyber week are interested in the future of the legal profession and especially in how technology is changing the way law is practiced and the way services are provided. In addition, members of the general public who attend are interested in how the Internet is opening up opportunities to reduce legal costs, access information and know-how and provide non-mediated online resolution of legal matters.

We are offering five opportunities for organizations who wish to fully engage specific audiences by demonstrating how their products and services enhance either the professional or the public experience in handling legal affairs. Demonstrations can be live via web cast, pre-recorded materials or a combination. The suggested time for a program is 30-60 minutes with time for Q&A for live programs. We will promote your demonstration throughout Cyber week through ads, posts to discussion forums and boards and via the Internet. You may also promote your demonstration through all channels. We can in some cases arrange to offer MCLE credit. Among the benefits to your organization for conducting a Technology Demonstration are:

  • Live real-time access to active Cyber week participants
  • Ability to directly engage audiences in discussions about your products and services
  • Ongoing access to audiences who view the demonstration for one year on www.internetbar.org
  • Ability to use the demonstration for your own purposes in any channels you wish
  • Technology services to help you create and present your demonstration
  • Inclusion of your company and contact information, including links you provide, on our Cyber week Sponsors page and on a rotating banner basis on all Cyber week programming pages
  • The opportunity to convert participants to potential customers by way of active engagement during and after the demonstration you are free to discuss your company products, services, programs, mission, special offers and you may contact people who attend the demonstration on an opt-out basis

Cost: $2,500
