By joining InternetBar.org, you are becoming a member of an international group of lawyers, law students and others with a commitment to creating a trusted community in cyberspace dedicated to improving access to justice and expanding the rule of law across the globe and across cultural and national boundaries.
InternetBar.org seeks to create meaningful public protection through harmonization of laws regarding privacy, identity and e-commerce and promote dispute resolution that is fair and timely while promoting resolutionary thinking rather than conflict.
Members of InternetBar.org have access to high quality and timely content in the areas of elawyering, cyberlaw, ethics and leadership and online dispute resolution, and can participate in the community through forums. Members may propose forum topics for discussion as well.
InternetBar.org develops programs and offers training and tools for practicing in cyberspace at favorable rates for members. We are developing open source tools content management systems specifically designed for lawyers which will also be available free for members of our community.
Consistent with InternetBar.org's value of transparency, you must register as a member to participate in the programs and discussion forums on the site and identify yourself so all other members of the community know who is posting commentary in the discussion areas. This supports the creation of trust and allows meaning to emerge.
